I think most people agree that children in school have to learn something about the different religions and non-religious beliefs that people live by today and have shaped human culture, but it is only recently that the inclusion of Humanism in the syllabus has been officially recommended. Now one exam board has put learning about Humanism in its GCSE course and I’ve written an article about it in today’s Guardian – it’s now available online.
