Introduced Simon Singh last night as he addressed the meeting in Manchester organised by the BHA to celebrate the first anniversary of the Conservative Humanist Association (going from strength to strength). He gave a great talk, focussing on his current struggles against the British Chiropractic Association, who are suing him for libel.

The joke’s on them, as their actions have provoked a big campaign against allowing the libel laws into the realm of public scientific debate led by Sense about Science, which everyone should support.
