I was on Victoria Derbyshire – BBC 2 discussing children’s right to relationships and sex education. Parents are always going to be the primary caregivers in their children’s lives, but it’s naive to think that they’re the only ones moulding their children. Wider society and culture does that.

In every other area of human life, knowledge, experience, and every other area of learning about our society, and learning about ourselves –  we accept that educational institutions in our society have a legitimate role to play.
