Today I was live on LBC discussing the UK’s inhumane blanket ban on assisted dying and the urgent need for an inquiry.

My appearance followed the news of Dr Henry Marsh – humanist and acclaimed neurosurgeon – who has revealed that he has advanced prostate cancer and may not have long to live. Prompted by his diagnosis, Henry has called upon parliamentarians to conduct an urgent review of the UK’s assisted dying laws. This call is supported by over 50 MPs and peers in a letter coordinated by Humanists UK and My Death, My Decision.
