Ahead of a Humanists UK rally which coincided with a parliamentary debate on assisted dying on 29 April, I went on Sky News to speak about the urgent need for compassion, choice, and dignity to prevail and to end the current ban on assisted dying in our country.
Here’s what I had to say:
'We're exporting the problem to another country and failing to really grasp the nettle in our own… by just leaving the law as it is and hoping the problem will go away. And that's why it's such a mess.' @andrewcopson @SkyNews #AssistedDying pic.twitter.com/tZnYcgW1oA
