# LBC: ‘State schools shouldn’t be allowed to discriminate against children on religious grounds’

I was up early this morning to talk to LBC about the Government’s terrible plan to [re-introduce 100% religious discrimination in state faith schools](https://humanists.uk/2024/05/01/breaking-uk-government-plans-for-100-religious-discrimination-in-new-state-funded-faith-schools/). It’s archaic, it’s discriminatory, and it will increase religious and racial segregation at a time when integration and cohesion has never been more important.
