After 15 years of leadership – including 10 years as President – I have stepped down from my role at Humanists International. In the farewell speech that follows, delivered to the General Assembly in Luxembourg in July 2025, I reflect on the organisation’s transformation, its growing global reach, and the values that must guide its future.
