I appeared on Sunday Morning Live today to discuss the case for assisted dying, an issue for which there is a clear public majority. It’s simple: the alternative to legal assisted dying is suffering, pain, people taking their lives in the most tragic or loneliest of ways, or flying off to Switzerland far from home without family and friends.
